Abstract

A physical-probabilistic analog model is developed that makes it possible to investigate nonequilibrium problems of the physics and chemistry of rarefied gases and plasmas at the microscopic level. The method is applied to a multicomponent partially ionized rarefied gas whose evolution is described by a system of nonlinear integrodifferential equations. The gas is modeled as a discrete medium whose elements change their properties as a result of instantaneous collisions in accordance with physical-chemical processes.
