 ORBIT

The high elliptical orbit is the most effective for astrometric missions. Spending a long time in the apogee the interrferometer will have enough time for long exposure of weak objects. For observations of ground-based and near-Earth objects solar-synchronized orbit would be preferable.

In order to solve scientific tasks and to maximize observational time the astrometric satellite will be launched to the high-elliptical orbit. Measurements of orbital parameters will be carrying out in the lower part of the pass.

The launch is planned for 2018

The active work period is 7-10 years.
